Cookie Notice

This notice explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies, which of them are strictly necessary, how consent works, and how you can control your choices. It should be read alongside our Privacy Notice.

Last updated: 11 October 2026

In short

This website currently sets only the cookies it cannot work without — including protection for the enquiry form. No analytics, advertising or marketing cookies are in use, and nothing you write in an enquiry form is passed to analytics or advertising platforms. Nothing optional is set without your consent, and you can change or withdraw your choices at any time.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. They allow a website to recognise your browser, remember choices you have made, and keep parts of the site working correctly. Similar technologies — such as local storage and pixels — do much the same thing, and this notice covers them too.

Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser ("session cookies"). Others remain for a set period ("persistent cookies") so that a preference is remembered on your next visit.

2. The law that applies

The rules on storing information on, and accessing information from, your device come from the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). PECR sits alongside the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, which govern the personal information collected through cookies.

Under PECR, we must ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary — and that consent must be clear, informed and freely given. You must be able to refuse just as easily as you accept. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt, because the service you have asked for cannot be provided without them.

Advertising or analytics cookies are never set before you consent. We do not use cookie walls, and refusing optional cookies will not restrict your access to any part of this website or affect your ability to submit an enquiry.

3. The cookies this website uses

The table below sets out the categories of cookies that may be used on this website, whether they require your consent, and what they do.

Strictly necessary

No consent required

Required for the website and the enquiry form to work securely. These cover the secure delivery of the site, keeping your session functioning, and protecting the contact form against spam and automated abuse. The website cannot operate without them.

Examples: A security/anti-bot token generated when the enquiry form loads, and session cookies set by the hosting platform.

Preference

Consent required

Remember choices you have made, such as whether you have accepted or rejected optional cookies, so you are not asked every time you visit. You can clear these by clearing your browser storage.

Examples: A cookie recording your cookie consent choices.

Analytics

Consent required

Would be used to understand how visitors use the website so it can be improved — for example, which pages are visited most. No analytics cookies are currently set on this website. If analytics is introduced, this notice and the consent choices offered will be updated first.

Examples: None currently in use.

Advertising and marketing

Consent required

Would be used to measure advertising or to show relevant advertising. This website does not use advertising or marketing cookies, and does not pass the contents of enquiry forms to advertising platforms. If this changes, this notice will be updated before any such cookie is set.

Examples: None currently in use.

[To be confirmed by the firm: the exact cookie names, the party setting each one (first or third party), and their individual retention periods should be listed here once the site's final cookie inventory is confirmed. A cookie audit tool can generate this list from the live published site.]

4. The enquiry form and your health information

Our enquiry form collects information about your accident and injuries, which may include health information. We treat this as a priority.

  • Form information is transmitted over an encrypted connection.
  • The form is protected against spam and automated abuse; the security mechanism used to do this is a strictly necessary function and is not used for tracking or advertising.
  • The content of your enquiry — your name, contact details, accident description, injury details or anything else you write — is never sent to analytics or advertising platforms as event data.
  • We minimise the data we collect and avoid unnecessary third-party scripts on form data.

More detail about how this information is used, how long it is kept and your rights is set out in our Privacy Notice.

5. How consent works, and how to change your mind

Where consent is needed, you are asked before any optional cookie is set. You can:

  • accept optional cookies;
  • reject optional cookies and continue using the website in full;
  • change your mind at any time and withdraw consent as easily as you gave it.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything done before you withdrew it. Where a non-essential cookie has already been set, withdrawing consent will stop it being used and it will be removed.

Your cookie preferences: a settings link is provided in the footer of every page, which lets you review and change your choices at any time without needing to contact us.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

Independently of any choice you make on this website, all major browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Browser help pages explain how:

  • blocking all cookies may prevent parts of this website, including the enquiry form, from working correctly;
  • deleting cookies will also clear the record of your consent choices, so you may be asked again on your next visit;
  • where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honour it as a rejection of optional cookies.

Information about controlling cookies across the main browsers is published by the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies are set by a party other than the website you are visiting. This website currently relies on third-party services only where they are necessary for the secure operation of the site and its enquiry form. We do not permit third parties to set advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

Where a service provider used to run the website processes data on our behalf, they do so under a contract that requires them to protect it and to use it only for the purposes we have specified.

8. Questions and complaints

If you have a question about cookies or how your information is used, please contact us using the details in our Privacy Notice. If you remain dissatisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — the UK's independent data protection regulator — at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

The ICO also publishes guidance on cookies and similar technologies for members of the public.

9. Changes to this notice

If we introduce new cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this notice and, where consent is required, ask for your consent before setting them. The current version is always published on this page, with the "last updated" date shown at the top.
